Benches and tables, oh my!

We are so in the mood for summer (have you read our posts lately!) and that means revamping the yard for more outdoor activities! Here is a press release that was recently sent out about Rubber Bark's fabulous picnic tables and benches. And as always, they are made of 100 percent recycled materials and are made to last!

With summer approaching most homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts are looking to their yards and recreation areas on what improvements need to be made. Most outdoor furnishings took a beating from this year’s unseasonably cold and rainy winter and spring, so it’s may be time to replace those tattered tables and chairs with a durable picnic table made of recycled rubber and plastic.

The trend this year for outdoor spaces, along with accent lighting, is eco-friendly chic. Rubber Bark™ prides itself on its environmentally friendly products and the company strives to be as eco-conscious as possible. According to CalRecycle, the government agency in charge of overseeing recycling for the state of California, there are over 40 million tires generated for reuse each year. Rubber Bark™ takes a big bite out of that number, with over 4 million tires recycled and reused through the company annually.

Just in time for Memorial Day, Rubber Bark’s tables and benches require 85 percent less maintenance that benches and tables made of wood and are meant to last for over a decade.

“Our benches and tables are solidly build in order for generations of families to enjoy,” said CEO of Rubber Bark™ Jana Nairn. “They are heavy, so you don’t have to worry about theft, and they are comfortable to boot.”

Never requiring staining or preservatives, Rubber Bark’s tables and benches can be used for those afternoon barbecues, outdoor kid projects, weekend get-togethers, and are great front porch or back patio pieces.
