Rubber Bark™ mentioned in the Sacramento Bee!

Rubber Bark™ was mentioned in a recent Sacramento Bee article about Earth Day and reusing goods that would normally end up in landfills. It said:

"Old tires show up in many other products. They've become furniture, dog collars, belts, shoes, rugs, and – yes – swings. Merced County's Ag Link makes Rubber Bark, a popular ground cover for parks and play areas. Made to look like wood bark, Rubber Bark lasts 12 times longer and has some built-in bounce.

'Rubber tires make good mulch for parks,' said Janet Simkins, manager of Roseville's Sierra Nursery, 'but they do have a smell. It takes a long time for that smell to go away.'"

Smelly or not, Rubber Bark™ is a great product and is eco-friendly!  Read the entire article here
